The building is located in Kerava's Sompio district. The area has many detached houses.
The task was to design a 1-storey one-family house in a flat lot.
The customer wanted to have a accentuated modern U-shaped atrium house, where all living areas open through large windows to the atrium.
An old residential building that existed in the site, was also integrated into the building.
The house is made of stone material, which is durable and require little maintenance. This enables savings in the maintenance of the building.
The building is equipped with efficient heat recovery.
